The Beauty I Almost Missed
Not everything has to change my life. Some things are just soft moments that ask nothing of me.And maybe that’s enough.
Like the way my favourite hoodie holds the shape of my shoulders.Or the way sunlight crawls on the corner of my bed like it’s in no rush to be noticed. The sound my shoes make on empty streets. When a song I forgot I loved finds me again.
No one claps for these moments. They don’t get posted. They don’t end with a revelation. But they happen.
And when I pay attention,I realise how much of life is trying to love me quietly.
The warmth of a mug.A text that just says “home?”A breeze that moves my shirtjust enough to feel like a touch.Someone calling my name the way only they do.
This isn’t about gratitude. It’s not about healing. It’s just about noticing, that even on the days when nothing happens, something does.
And maybe the real miracleis that I was here to see it.
